Well then I sure hope they are in his earhole about throwing the ball away.

You can walk and even jog with a slight tear of the MCL or ACL.

Have a feeling he's out next week for sure and maybe even the game after the bye.

Have a feeling he won't be out at all.

And quite frankly that'd be stupid. The Jets DL is unreal. Wilson needs to sit this one out.

Be honest would you want a gimpy Wilson against arguably the best DL in the AFC? This is a game I wasn't confident winning with a healthy Wilson, now you throw in Russ being injured on both legs.

Have to think big picture on this.

Honestly my post was based on how he was moving and the fact that he stayed on the sidelines. A tear is significant and he would have been in more obvious pain, he wouldn't have stayed on the sidelines with a tear.

Most MCL injuries don't require surgery but he will have that knee brace for a while to promote its healing.

I wouldn't mind them sitting him out a game just wish it wasn't against the Jets. He might not have a choice either way if Pete doesn't feel comfortable.

You'd have to chop his legs off to stop him playing in a game.

If it was serious doubt they'd allow him:

a.) to stay on the sideline walking around during the game

b.) board an exercise bike in the fourth quarter

c.) jog off the field

That said, probably going to see another week of immobile RW vs the Jets and that didn't go well vs LA.

As someone who has had my knee do that....

You can't always tell how bad from what it looks like. I have had it buckle slightly and have it pain me for weeks after. I've also had it go worse and be fine an hour later.

Even if it's only a sprain, that's still a muscle tear.

I think you just let Boykin fall on the sword for a week and hope the defense and running game carry you to a win a la Brissett vs Houston this past Thursday

You mean ligament not muscle. Sprains can be stretched, partially torn or completely torn ligaments.

And one or two real ones. :D

I know fans want something comforting by an expert. But i dislike medical analysis my people who are not treating him.

He will never survive the season behind this line.
This injury had nothing to do with the line and everything to do with him not throwing the ball away.

Good news.

He said he'll be fine in press conference doesn't seem worried at all about it.

Yes. But they have no access to his MRI or anything else.

Purely speculative. I respect the knowledge, but truth is you are not in the know.

Will see what the team says.

Usually I complain about the bye week being this early, but thank goodness for the early bye week this year.

Hopefully, Fitzpatrick throws a lot of picks against us like that Bills game from 2012 and helps us out a bit. If Wilson plays, we need to blow them out ASAP so Wilson can go sit down ASAP.
