Exactly, the line was dominated most of the game, how Walker got 100 yards after KC had 8 TFLs is mind blowing, Geno had little time to throw most of the first half, receivers not knowing plays and running the wrong routes, just bad execution even from the veterans.
The defense gets dominated at LOS but then plays well in a few spots.

That's coaching. That's being held accountable and the feel good Heehawks don't do that.

My preference this off-season was to lose Pete and Russ. After seeing what we were able to do though, especially after that win streak, I definitely thought I undersold Pete.

But these last 5 games, every thing we had going right and it's like our coaches purposefully sabotaged it. Our offensive play calling that we opened up for Geno became inside handoffs galore.

We seemed to go back to a read-and-react technique on defense that had us thoroughly getting manhandled to start the year.

We went from 90+% playoff favorites to a losing record and it seems to be very much on coaching.

Respectfully..

Help me out here please? What makes you think they are ?
I feel like they need several replacements on defense and at least 1-2 interior players on the offensive line .

Goodwin? #18? Even DK doesn't seem to have turned the corner. He's good for a penalty or two every game. Bonehead
Mental lapses.

I still think Geno can be the man. He needs balance around him. Every QB does.
Respectfully,

The Running game has improved even with Penny going down.

The offensive line is in a much much better position

The secondary is much better.

I love the kick returner

The TE group is damn good

So yeah we ARE BETTER.

Grandpappy Pete is like the 90 year old down at the DMV who desperately tries to keep his driver's license even though he's legally blind and has been for the last 5 years.
You know what's crazy? I bet the team would look a lot better had Pete not decided to try to modernize his defensive scheme and simply ran it back with the addition of a great cornerback in Woolen.

Did you take a hint of sarcasm from my post? I was honestly being nice.

Thank you for your help and input. I feel like they've gotten worse. Regardless of
Personnel , they get gashed on the ground , can't pressure the QB.

On offense it's the opposite. The only reason Walker was able to run with any
Success is that we were in a deep hole and KC figured any team with any type
Of brains would be passing to maybe catch up . So grandpa really tricked em.

Bone head play , no discipline, poor play calling and no sense of situational football and it's frustrating. From the legion of boom to the last 10 years of fail.

I've had that thought many times. How does a team think they can just switch the scheme mid stream without acquiring the needed guys ?

Pete is a lame ass coach who caught fire 10 years ago and hasn't done jack crap since. he refuses to make adjustments and makes the same lame ass rookie coach mistakes every ******* game.

I used to be on board but now I believe theres NO way this team is winning shit with him at the helm. We needed to see some kind of improvement this year and shits just getting worse.

What does pete bring to the team now? not a damned thing but losses and bullshit excuses. This team went in to half assed mode just like the lame ass Mariners.
Agreed. I think it's best for both parties for a change. Nuff said, really.

I just don't get it. How do you go from Dominating in that 4 game winning streak to bottom of the barrel since then. It's almost like they are doing it on purpose. I mean they're not even adjusting anything, nothing big at least.

I'm a Pete Carroll fan, but I'm just about at my tipping point. All I know is we cannot have another change at offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator under Pete. We've gone through so many of both. Enough is enough. At some point he just has to admit that he may no longer be an effective head coach.

Whatever man, you asked a question, I answered, you asked a follow up question, I answered. I don't see the last 10 years as a fail, I don't see this year regardless of what happens as a fail. This is a bridge season (everybody should have known than) Geno has played well but he is not the answer and I look forward to a very bright future with more stud draft picks and a new QB and we can progress and get better with Pete Carroll. That's how I see it :-/

But again I don't cry myself to sleep or kick the dog and scream to the mountain tops when we lose...it's KC anyone with a brain knew we were going to lose. Do changes need to be made? ABSOLUTELY but we can't cut everybody mid season as we need 53 to play a game, and like or not Pete ain't going anywhere until he decides he is done.

Fair enough Mango.

Because if Seattle were to cut all the shit players mid season, they'd have to travel with about 20 guys if they did that.
I also disagree with you in regard to Geno Smith. I think he's a bright spot.
Just imagine if the offensive line was decent. I know they have 2 rookie tackles and they'll get better but Blythe is just a guy.

I also agree with you and have a hunch that PC will get another year . I don't think he'll get 2 if He has another underwhelming season like this one.

Remember "win forever" or " always compete"? 6 weeks ago people were making plans to go to the SB. How quickly things turn to complete shit.
That's lack of leadership and horrible preparation. Followed by weak adjustments mid game.

This is a poorly put together roster . Of
Course , not including the rookie class.

Pete needs to go. Period. We’ve seen what this team with the same people is capable of. Yet we’ve seen no improvements and constant regression. Even where we have a shiny star with a KR/PR imbwueueuwurye (whatever it’s spelled) and Pete wants to keep sticking with Dallas..

Pete’s loyalty to subpar coaches and shit players have cost this team time and time again. From the LOB to now. And as a fan the results on the field currently are completely unacceptable. Especially when we SAW that this team is completely capable of dominating and kicking ass.

Coaching overall is shit. This defense couldn’t stop a wheelchair from getting into the endzone.

Nice post and my thoughts as well. How
Does a team suck ... Then play well... Then suck again . They're 14+ games into the season and should have worked out the problems by now. That's crap coaching. Any coordinator worth a damn would take these same guys and have them playing at a respectable level.
Do these average and below average players feel secure in their jobs? I bet they wouldn't with a Belechik or a Parcells. Hell , I'd take Greg Williams at this point 😂.

Goodwin Igwebuike was the designated kick returner.
DeeJay Dallas was the designated punt returner.

I thought the offense really missed Tyler Lockett tonight.

Some of you guys are talking like Pete is totally content with AN UNFINISHED RELOADED team.
The FACT that the Seahawks have gotten as far as they have WITH AN UNFINISHED ROSTER, speaks volumes & that Pete is going to, and SHOULD BE HERE until >>HE<< decides to call it quits.
