i want to absolutely destroy the titans

I dunno, I think it's good to draw a little passion from the last game. Always dangerous to face a team with a chip on their shoulder

I still see an 8-1 start from this team

Just realized we have a TNF followed by a MNF... that's big, like mini-bye week big! 8-1 is definitely a strong shout, I think 13-3 (with a tie-breaker) might be enough to get HFA this year, NFC dropping lots of games to AFC 13-3 / 14-2 for me!

One Huge Rule Change Needed in the NFL

This would mean that, as a DB, if you knew you were about to get beaten over the top for more than 15 yards you'd just tackle the player mid-run and take the hit on the penalty. I'm fine with it how it is, I just think the refs need training better

    Bruce Irvin

I'd have been happy to give him a pass on whatever he did first game back, must be tough to hit the ground running when everyone else has had 4 weeks of live action. He looked okay to me, I'm not an X's and O's guy really, but when I saw him it was for good reasons.

    Reasons to be cheerful

Pretty doom and gloom on here today, understandably so. But I'm used to supporting perpetually losing teams (Bolton Wanderers, Mariners, mind 2000's Seahawks, the England 'soccer' team) so I just wanted to give you the reasons why I'm positive today! 1. Colts are a good team - Probably the...

    NFL WEMBLEY!!

It would be a start as they actually beat someone in the 'world' rather than just the USA. The 'National' Football League argument was semantics so I countered it with semantics of my own. And, because I'm too meek to ever want to appear confrontational, let me add - Go Hawks! :)

    NFL WEMBLEY!!

I certainly wouldn't bail, but obviously the Brit/English/London team would be my firm 2nd team and I'd root for them in all but Seahawk's games @Orfan... the counter argument to that is that Superbowl winners call themselves World Champions? Just playing devil's advocate :les:

    NFL WEMBLEY!!

I see the dislike from the team that loses a home game, but, as you can see from the growing UK contingent on here, we're a big and ever-growing market. I'd love to see the Seahawk's over here, but hopefully only for an 'away' game. I think they're steering cleer of West Coast teams though...

    Looking ahead...

C'mon guys, we've learnt to refer to it as 23-0 by now surely?

    Michael Bennett

They're super cautious with neck-looking injuries, so it always looks horrible seeing them get strapped up and hauled off. Glad he's okay!

"Seahawks vs Niners" by Levy Films

I'd estimate at around 4/5 pro grade DSLR cameras (with very talented operators) and whatever editing software they happen to use, AVID, Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro are all swings and roundabouts really

This sums up how popular the Seahawks are becoming...

It's not just the early cut off that irked me, the whole thing just screams amateurism and a 'well we're all you've got so you'll have to watch us anyway' attitude

"Seahawks vs Niners" by Levy Films

As someone who works in sports television I can only marvel at the camerawork and editing on show here... One factor that can't be underestimated is the difficulty of editing to music, especially when you're not directing the action (i.e. live events) :th2thumbs: all-round! ...would have...

On a side note, how awful is the Channel 4 coverage. Can't believe they went off-air before the game finished (obviously not a huge issue in this came but still...) surely programming isn't that strict at 6am?!
