Thought I'd show a very recent photo of the stadium we'll be playing in for the game...

Here's a link to an interactive page with different views of the construction...

lmao that’s really going to be ready by October? Figured by now they’d be putting the final touches on it. Though I admit I know zero about architecture and engineering.

Not confirmed as yet guys, 1 hour and 46 mins to go!

Not confirmed officially correct, but everything points to it being the case

Absolutely.

I will be amazed if the announcement doesn't confirm Seahawks @ Raiders.

Seems to be -

Philadelphia @ Jacksonville
Seahawks @ Oakland
Titans @ LA Chargers

Are the other two correct?

I'd rather they get to watch their team play in the SuperBowl. We already face a big enough challenge with regards to travel. Flying over the dang Atlantic just compounds that. Watch they play it at 6:30 am PT so the Seattle living fans have to wake up at the AC of dawn to watch.

Sounds like a cool stadium. I haven't been to London in over a decade, but I might have to make the trip. I have some extended family there and used to work at the Inns of Court before starting law school. I wonder if Marshawn Lynch will be playing in this game.

Apparently when the Rams played the Cards in 2017, they had a 10 AM PST start time. The NFL shows competence at least once a year.

Awesome news! :irishdrinkers: :irishdrinkers: :irishdrinkers: :irishdrinkers:

Already planning my trip south :)

I do appreciate why some fans in the US don't like the idea - football is a way of life - but until I save enough for a 3 week trip to the Pacific North west during September, then this is heaven for me.

Absolutely, it costs us UK fans at least £3-4000 ($4-5500).

The fact we get to see them play for a couple hundred pounds is incredible!

I had no idea you was from UK until recently.
There is more that I was not aware of.
The first UK mod that I have seen.
PeHawk would have loved that

Thinking about it a bit more with a reduced capacity stadium and only three games instead of four - with far better matchups than 2017 - tickets for this will be very hard to come by I reckon.

London season ticket holders ordinarily get first dibs on available tickets, then what's left goes to General Sale - I think after season ticket renewals and hospitality tickets, that could be roughly 10k tickets between two immensely popular teams in Seattle and Oakland.

Love it! Already booked my hotel. Will be nice to be able to see a game live this year. I'm working for the Army in Germany. The wife saw it before I did and called me immediately.

I actually think this game will have the highest demand and they have put it in the smallest stadium. 60k capacity and I'm sure they will limit seats near the touchlines also. I can see quite a few people being disappointed. As soon as they are going on sale I'm on that website.

From what I have read about the new stadium - the pitch is lower doen so they can use all of the seats. :2thumbs:

I'm getting nervous about this in all honesty. Apparently they sell around 45k season tickets (i.e. all the London games) and thats when there are 4 games, 3 will obviously be cheaper. This is no problem when its Wembley with 90k seats but with Tottenham thats 3 quarters of the tickets gone before general individual game sale.

That said I work at Great Ormond Street childrens hospital, I can feel a cheeky tweet to Russell Wilson coming on. Happy to give him the tour :p

As a Londoner I am very much stoked for this and will be awaiting with bated breath when the tickets come on sale. I have friends and family who are keen too, so fingers crossed we can snap up a batch of tickets when they go on sale.

I understand the sentiment from those US Hawks...I managed to go to Seattle to see us edge past the Lions recently (the "batting" controversy) and it was an insane atmosphere.

For other UK Hawk fans who have not had the chance to see them play, this is fantastic news.

Think the stadium will be seattle favoured...although normally Raiders have some sort of presence in the UK.

Very keen for a .net drink or 2 in a local establishment :irishdrinkers:
