Am I the only one who thinks that it doesn't matter who you have to catch the football if your QB is going to spend all game on his back or running for his dear life.

Crashed and burned the first time. Wasn't pretty.

And the second?

I'll let you know in the morning but it's looking pretty good so far.

I want to give this a thumbs up!
Ditto. I scanned through the thread too see if anyone else caught it.

The rest of you have lost that lovin' feeling.
You can be my wing man any time.

Im always hesitant about paying players from other teams big money, but I think this is the first time it will work for Pete and John.

This trade is nothing like the Harvin trade. Graham can fit into any offense that utilizes TEs in the passing game. Harvin can only run gimmick BS (I "hate" bevell more than most but it's not his fault Harvin can't run routes).

The Hawks are also on the hook for only a fraction of what Harvin was guaranteed, and Graham's average annual salary is slightly less. We are also giving up less in draft picks. Graham AVERAGES more receiving yards than Harvin has ever had. He actually fits a role that we desperately needed.

There is much less risk, much more reward.

This trade is a win for the Hawks. We took a nice step towards our 3rd straight SB berth

While we need to address some spots on our oline (most teams do), I ain't trippin' about it when we've been a top 5 running team the last few years. It's obviously not as big a deal as we've made out in some threads. And if you are leaning on our lackluster passing offense as the reason for hating our oline, I will remind you that we are a run-first team...And that RW has the record for TD passes as a rookie. It's not as bad as it seems. We will fill the voids, I have zero doubt.

I'm totally stoked about this trade and JG coming to Seattle. I voted that we are headed back to the Superb Owl baby (although there are still several puzzle pieces to obtain in the offseason).

It is still going to take a few games before I can really begin to cheer for JG though.

Kind of goofy to mention that the Defense doesn't like him. Rumor is some don't like Wilson and other gossip-related crud. They don't have to like him. Offensive guys don't have to like him, witness the fact our WRs were punching each other out for a couple of seasons with that madman Harvin around.

I know it is tongue in cheek but still a goofy notion. Now as far as fans not liking him, that is another story.

Was totally shocked when I heard this. Not even a trade I would have thought possible. I will miss Max but getting a tall receiver that we have coveted for so long is just awesome.

Think about if we convert a few more 3rd downs and/or a TD in the red zone a game because we now have someone who can just post up a DB or LB. Those few crucial plays a game can be devastating.

Having a Basketball player WR will be awesome when the play breaks down, I hope RW and JG are already talking how they will cream the NFL this year :thirishdrinkers:

Yeah good move :0190l:
