This is how I see it right now this secondary has lost a lot of talent BB and Maxwell are gone Lane out with an injury you have Earl coming of a shoulder injury that he had surgically repaired. If you take Kam out ,argueably the best SS in the league , then there is no Legion of Boom anymore because he is the Boom in the Legion of Boom. He is undervalued by some on this board not sure why all he does is make big hit after big hit he is the enforcer in Seahawk's secondary and he makes a good amount of INT's every year as well.

How many box safties get drafted in the first compared to pass rushers? Never have too many.

Position is not the whole equation.

Kam is arguably the best strong safety in the game (many would say best safety period), you think Bennet would make anyone's top ten pass rushers?

He did make PFF's . . . #4 edge rusher (including OLBs), which seemed a little high to me. That's based on the fact that he had the 3rd most pressures last season, although he converted a low percentage of those into sacks.

Tough call, a lot of things Bennett does is unseen. That being said, I'll use criteria of emotional lift, which because Bennett's stuff is unseen I will give the edge to Kam. Plus depth. Plus, well, according to a bunch of other NFL players aka NFL Network Kam is also more valuable

90. Michael Bennett . Seattle Seahawks, DE (3rd highest rated 4-3 DE)
69. Bobby Wagner . Seattle Seahawks, LB (2nd highest rated MLB)
41. Kam Chancellor . Seattle Seahawks, S (the highest rated SS)
31. Jimmy Graham . Seattle Seahawks, TE (2nd highest rated TE)
22. Russell Wilson . Seattle Seahawks, QB (5th highest rated QB)
21. Earl Thomas . Seattle Seahawks, S (the highest rated FS)
11. Richard Sherman . Seattle Seahawks, CB (the highest rated CB)
9. Marshawn Lynch . Seattle Seahawks, RB (2nd highest rated RB)
