Collins was terrible here.

He never would have been good here and he had plenty of chances.

So I am really happy he is doing well in Baltimore, because it shows that we have a really flawed system for our RBs.

Probably due to our Goodwill Bargain Bin approach to bringing in OL in the first place, but our system just is below adequate for RBs. As 3+ RBs failing to do anything this year seems to imply.

Collin did us a huge favor, because he never would have done anything here. But he shined a light on the fact we need to fix some things now.

How about Malik McDowell? Dude is our highest draft choice, gets in an ATV accident before the season evens starts, and doesn't even see the field all year long. His loss necessitates the Sheldon Richardson trade, thus depleting crucial draft capital that could otherwise be spent in rebuilding for the future. Not even a debate if you really think about the impact his drafting had.

Good call. McDowell cost us a 1st and a 2nd (Sheldon trade).
Richardson cost Kearse and a second, Brown cost a 2nd and a third.

My mistake. McDowell pick was a 2nd (#35), just outside of the 1st round. McDowell may as well be a 1st, because we seemed to target move downs to draft him.
