Nice, only 27 years old, yet another prove it type deal. Veteran player coming from a winning team etc. I guess 5 teams were interested too. Looks like he's been pretty healthy overall too.

Deep draft in WR and we sign one? Shallow draft in DE and we sit around. Smh

Well...……..that didn't take long.
God forbid we go 3 minutes to like a signing of a player before someone busts out the negative take......sigh.
They signed a solid vet WR, oh the horror.

It's that Madden mentality where they think free agency is a like a shopping list, as if an all-world front office can't focus on more than one positional group at once

Everything we've seen to date is about hedging and creating flexibility for BPA in the draft.

We haven't seen it bear fruit, but I'm confident the front office is working equally hard (if not harder) on solving the Edge issues. Short of signing a big dollar player at another position, other moves aren't working against that goal.

I mean. What do you people think conversations in the front office go like?

"Hey, this 4.33 speed wide receiver hit the open market for a cheap price. You have decent cap flexibility. Want to take a shot at him?"

"No thanks, as general manager I am physically incapable of thinking about more than one position at a time and am focused on defensive end and nothing else right now"

He's a good player. I think Russ will LOVE throwing to him too. Good signing.

Very nice Air Coryell addition. It fits the offense they are working toward building. A combination of deep and mid range passing and power running to attack the entire field of play.

Excellent signing. It's so impressive how John and Pete continue to let the market come to them. Truly a dynamic duo. :2thumbs:
