Agreed. 'boys win that one. The Cowboys are a terrible, but the 'skins are a dumpster fire of an entirely different level.

I'm struck by the number of guys on there picking against the Patriots.

That isn't completely insane. Not this year at least. Gronk is out, and Brady and the Patriots haven't been the same this year. Also the Patriots don't do well when playing the Ravens at Baltimore. Also Baltimore seems to be getting hot at just the right time while the Patriots just choked a chance to get their division and a first round bye.

Cowboys have the worst defense in the NFL, and Cousins will likely play better than RGIII. It's going to be closer than people think, I bet. We should want that, anyway, because it lowers the Rams pick.

No, it's not insane, I agree. I am still a bit surprised by it, however. I wouldn't call the Ravens "hot", either; their offense looked like hot garbage the other night. Six field goals, no TDs? *shrug*

Never count Tom Brady out of the running. :)

And how many "experts" said RW was a horrible draft choice?
Or that PC couldn't win in the NFL?
Or the Hawks couldn't win on the road?
Or at 10am?
etc. etc.

It is fun to watch the Hawks physically tell the media to shut their pie hole about previous stats. Physically as in the wins and the way they play.

So called "experts" are barely .500 in last weeks picks!
What makes this hilarious is they are not picking against the spread, but instead picking outright. Judging by their total record you would do very well comparatively by selecting the favorite each week.

The ESPN experts are usually a good 10% better than the CBS morons.

Jason La Canfora is pretty good. Kinda balances out some of the CBS garbage. Like Pete Prickso.

Is he? That is a genuine question as I don't follow the CBS guys. I just took a look at the ATS picks this season which look pretty ugly...

Prisco 103-121
LaCanfora 98-126
Brinson 112-112
Katzowitz 92-132
Wilson 97-127
Breech 110-114
Richard 109-115
Eisenberg 111-113

I'm not saying that I would do any better but LaCanfora has been wrong 28% more often than he has been right this season. You would be way better off just taking the Vegas line as your prior than you would be listening to him.

An overall difference of 28 between hits and misses when you're talking about 224 games is not even close to being wrong 28% more than being right.

Hoge was 8-8 last week. You can do that with a coin flip!
