Yep nothing like a good one and done a$$ beating in the playoffs to put a stamp on a fine season. I mean that's what it's all about right, making the playoffs? I thought it was winning it all. Silly me.

The Pete hate is strong as always. Year after year he's a better than average coach, bringing us playoff berths, but not good enough for some fans.

Sometimes for a brief second I wish y'all would get your wish and see just how disastrous a coaching change can be to a team with a winning formula, then I realize, thank god our ownership is smarter than that.

I said it before they promoted that joke Hurtt: They need to go out and get an EXPERIENCED D COORDINATOR WITH A SOLID TRACK RECORD. They didn't do it.

Pete just needs to be a rah rah guy at this point and not be involved with any game planning. And the new coordinator would need to know that in order to take this job. Pete is not going anywhere, so that's the only way this is going to work.

More like Jody: Pete you and your staff made it to the playoffs with a bunch of unproven rookies, cast-offs, has-beens and a washed-up QB on a team that most of the NFL experts wrote off as only winning 3 games, 5 if lucky We both know that we have obvoious holes needing to be fixed so lets use the draft picks wisely where most needed to build a top defense. I look forward to disappointing the hell out of all of the "experts" even more next season!

If Pete wants to return, he will be the head coach no questions asked. At 9-8 and a wild-card berth after the RW trade, they far exceeded expectations. This season was a feather in his cap.

I know firing Pete may not be the answer as other teams would love to have what we have.

PC as coach is not the problem. For all his shortcomings as an in-game coach, he more than makes up for it with the positive winning culture he creates around the team.

The main problem has been talent acquisition. Excepting last year, they've drafted poorly for some years now. They also spend too much CAP space on middling players, rather than impact players. And, of course, the Jamal Adams trade was horrible in retrospect.

The real question is who has been the lead dog when it comes to making personnel moves? If it's been PC, then he's had a pretty poor record for a number of years, excepting last year.

You can’t equate this loss to the other wild card losses, completely different situations

This team is rebuilding, this playoff appearance was a nice feather for a team finding their way back

Field a defense that is at least middle of the road next year or this is your last season with the team. I've seen enough. Complete waste of time playing these games when you have a historically bad defense every year.

Jody needs to sell and move on. She is a very strange person. Until the Allens are purged from the organization, this chapter will never end. This was a bigger thing with Vulcan, she was yanked from there by her Brother. The defense was very bad this season outside of the one short stretch. It needs a serious look/review this offseason, along with the middle of our O-line.

Bigger NT and DE, move on from Darryl Taylor as he seems more suited to a LEO than an OLB. Mafe and Owasu will start at OLB and we need a true MLB so that Jordan can play WILL and Barton can play ST.

Thing is, they probably played less 3-4 this year than they did last... and I'm not sure getting rid of one of the only productive pass rushers on the team does anything to help

How many years are we going to be going through rebuilding excuse? We have been doing this since 2017 or before. We really have not been a legitimate contender since 2014 Unless just having a winning record is the goal and we can consider everything else gravy?
