In my estimation, they either want to turn him into a QB who can compete with Wilson or a bargaining chip for a future draft. People will get to see him a lot in the 4th quarter this year, seeing as how the Seahawks are going to cut a swathe of destruction through the NFL.
On the other hand, the motto is bigger, faster, stronger. While i think there's a better chance of my getting married to a Seagal than this happening: If Russell went through another stretch like he did at the end of 2013, you might see Pete trying Pryor on the field, if only to ease Wilson's workload. (It's certainly good to have Pryor in case of injury, given the number of hits Russell's taken.) AGAIN, it's unlikely, especially now that Wilson's mind is off the divorce.
