Just as I'd projected.....along with no changes to his contract and the Hawks waving the fines that he'd accrued. Those parts remain to be seen, however.

They aren't saying NO changes to his contract, just not what he was asking for. There appears to be a slight adjustment in his contract, maybe bringing some of next year's money forward or something

Moving some of next year's money forward into this year IS what he was asking for, and they've already reported that that's not happening.

According to the tweet though, there was going to be some sort of modification. As for saying that's what he wanted, that's just subjecture at this point. There has been no definitive statement from either side as to the details of the holdout.

Seriously though, I can see them shuttling some money to this year, the other thing I was thinking was that the FO can go to Lynch and tell him they have no plans on cutting him as long as he can still perform at a high level. Some reports were saying Lynch was concerned about the last year of his contract, the cap hit of said year and being cut, playing for the team for a longer period, and being around his team mates and in an environment that he loves.

We do know he didn't like Buffalo and he honestly seems to like it here. I can see him just trying to position himself to guarantee the rest of his contract, and retire here. It's just a theory, nothing I've heard.

Lynch got concessions to the contract we don't know the exact terms , but no matter how you look at it Lynch got more money and he isn't going to pay a penny in fines. He won this round he didn't win big but he did get some concessions and I'm happy for him and the Seahawks he's earned it.
