It looked like Jimmys injury. Hope it wasn’t totally torn. 6-8 weeks for a partial tear. End of season and surgery for a full year.

ugh. Not good. That is probably the worst injury a football player can have, very, very tough recovery.

I don’t think we know that.

The patella can be injured or bruised w/o ligament involved.

One is minor, the other can be career ending.

Jimmy was blessed/ lucky to make it back.

Jimmy worked as hard as he possibly could to come back from that.

Class act all the way. Still leaves me shaking my head how poorly he was utilized by us.

As for Dissly, the injury just plain sucks. He was showing serious potential. Hoping he can come back 100%.

Yes, as far as I know he is the only person in the history of the NFL that has made a pro bowl (and he made 2 of them) after a ruptured patellar. He clearly worked his butt off to get back.

He was a class act his entire time here, was misused for 3 years and never once complained. Ton of respect for him.

He had one of the classiest good bye letters that I can remember after he signed in GB. Night and day compared to how sherm left, and Earl's actions of late (FWIW, I still think he should have been paid and it really sucks that he was hurt tonight).

He gets a ton of hate around here, but not from me. I think it was best for both sides to part ways.

Let's hope Dissly can have a similar recovery.

Really hope it's not potentially career ending. He makes a huge difference in our offense. A guy that can give defenses multiple looks..block for a power run or take it 60 yards. Would be a real shame

He didn't say tendon. If it's a cracked patella he could conceivably make it back this season though Pete likely wouldn't bring him back. The Hawks played most of the game with one TE.
