Not necessarily, at least not this time of year.

Maybe Charbonnet will miss a couple regular season games if he comes back and need to catch up cause he's a rookie.

But sounds like Walker will be good to go in a couple weeks, and with Dallas and McIntosh getting most of the carries in camp, they'll be in the mix.

Yeah, but as Yogi Berra once said, it's deja vu all over again.

It's the nature of the position, and a microcosm of what's going on all over the league with veteran RB's being pissed off because their teams aren't offering them big extensions.

It's EXACTLY why Pete and John have changed their tune over the past 4-5 years post Beastmode in drafting quality RB's high. They know the chance of injuries is high, and the shelf life is low.

I'm definitely among those who are a little sensitive about rookies starting the preseason with lingering and/or catastrophic injuries. If feels like a trend, even if it's not (when compared to other teams).

But I think they're probably just being extra cautious.

Oh, you optimist, you!

We actually are allowed to have nice things, we just need to be patient.

Y'all are going to have to excuse us for 'jumping to conclusions'. As snake bit as we've been at that position, it's a natural reaction for fans to think "here we go again!" Sort of like Pavlov's dog, all you have to do is ring a bell and he starts salivating. It's called a conditioned response.

What was this jumping down RiverDog's throat? He gets a month's free pass from me just for calling Roger Goodell the piano player at the whore house.
