No to Nix. His ceiling is Derek Carr imo. I'm not spending a 1st on Nix. Based on what we know of John, I doubt he would also.

Yes, a QB in the first round.
No trade down, no costly trade up.
NO dicking around...

Michael Penix
Bo Nix
Jayden Daniel's

Even Williams or Maye if they fall.
Everyone, hold your hands flat on the war room table until the pick is made and I will keep control of the hammer until we are off the clock and put it safely away.

I would go opposite. QB with first pick, preferably Penix or Daniel’s and then O line

Geno is by far better than any QB in the draft and will be for at least the next 3 years. People complain about his sacks now what do you think Penix would do behind this line?

If you don't remember Geno threw 42 TDs against 6 int’s his senior year, better stats than Penix.

I say this to say the National Media has a way more favorable stance on Geno than most of fans and say he should be the QB at least for the next few years.

Sure trade up and get a “QB1”, but there are WAY more pressing needs on the team.

Here is a rough idea how it (1st pick) could go, nothing set in stone.

Lose to Cardinals, #14
Beat Cardinals but miss playoffs. #15-18
Beat Zona make PO's & lose in WC #19-23

If anyone has any better information it would be appreciated. My Seahawk gut tells me we pick #24, lol

Loss to Arizona= Pick between #13-15

Win & GB Win= Pick #15-17

Win & GB Loss= Playoffs & Pick 20-21 (Wildcard Loss)

A loss in the Wildcard Round would mean picking 20th or 21st.

If you make the Divisional Round, then the pick will fall between #25-28.

I don't see how I can't choose other in this circumstance. It is entirely dependent on a million variables about the individual prospects, their red flags, their strengths, their attitude, how expensive they'll be, who else is on the board, what the depth of the draft looks like, etc etc etc.

If the QBs we have to choose from without giving someone 3 firsts are, like, McCarthy and Nix? Yeah dude, I'm sticking with Geno and trying to move his cap hit around while taking a good non-QB positional prospect.

I was sold on Penix long time ago but once they compared his numbers with Patrick Mahomes' Texas Tech stats, I'm even more sold on the Seahawks doing whatever to get him. His teams are gritty and they just find a way to win. He might end up being a top 15 pick.

Trade down and Draft Bo Nix weather that's in late first or early 2nd.

No, I want them to get the best player at whatever position is necessary in order to do so. I don't give a crap about draft positions, scout well and draft accordingly.
This.

Just about anything is needed. BPA unless Bo Callahan is available.

Considering that the Hawk's already dealt away two of their top 5 picks for the upcoming draft, I don't believe that they have enough draft capital to move up in any significant way. Maybe for some unforeseen reason a Michael Penix, or Bo Nix falls to them, but that is not likely going to happen if Green Bay doesn't beat the Chicago Bears and put the Seahawks out of the playoffs for this year.

Should our Hawk's end up being out of the playoffs this season, perhaps being able to draft reasonably high in the top 15 or so, then I'd like for them to draft a real inside defensive lineman in the 1st round, and maybe find a gem of an inside linebacker in the 3rd round. That's probably easier done than said, as long as they don't get cute in trading down again. This team needs starting talent now, not gambits.

If they see a guy that they think tips the field, go get him. You have to.

Can you nail the draft in the first round? Noooooooooooo!!!

Can you nail the draft in the second round? Nooooooooooooo!!!

Can you nail the draft in the third round? Nooooooooooo!!!

Can you nail the draft in the fourth round? Yessssssssssss!
