Local Boise tV said that Harsin was interviewed for the Oregon Job. Not sure if it is a ploy thing or real. Just thought I would put this out there.
I saw on the ESPN ticker last night that Oregon has interviewed Taggart and Harsin.

Starting to feel like Fleck is staying at WMU. I dont think its going to be Chip. I guess my next choices would be Taggert or Rhule, but neither of them excite me as much as fleck or chip.

Also reports that they're interviewing Oakland Raider offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who of course was a Duck qb back in the day.

Word coming out of an announcement from Oregon tonight. Maybe within the next hour. Timing makes me wonder if it might be Chip after all.... tonights game in Chicago could have been his last straw.

No Harsin and No McElwayne, hopefully....

So much heat right now with the Chip Kelly back to Oregon rumors

Should we believe it this time?

Like I said I think it will be the Chipster. Money talks, more money talks louder.
I'm sure uncle Phil will UP the ante if he thinks he's close on the Chipster.

The longer it takes the more it would seem like it is an NFL guy, I would think. Maybe an assistant from a playoff college team would be about the only other reasonable reason to not have picked somebody yet.

Taggart. Although I will point out, Chip Kelly is also a current non power 5 coach.

All out chaos right now

I actually really like Willie Taggart and think he'd be a good choice. But all of Duck nation is going to melt down if it turns out to not be Chip.

Just heard on Mike and Mike that it's Taggart.

Taggart has experience in recruiting the West Coast because of his time at Stanford. This isn't a bad hire. I just wonder if it means the end of the high-speed offense.

Taggart's career coaching record at USF is 24-25. I hear Petersen breathing a sigh of relief.

That's what happens when you take over shitty programs. Look at Petersen at UW, his teams record regressed his first two seasons. Taggart has taken over two crappy teams and turned them around quickly. I love the hire. He wouldn't have been my first choice but he fits the mold of exactly what I wanted.

From the harbaugh coaching tree, plays a spread type offense, young and energetic, love that oregon has their first African American coach, that will make a much stronger presence in recruits living rooms then the whitest man in America, mark helfrich.

Curious to see who the d. Coordinator will be, but so far I'm happy.

Petersen is the reason Chip Kelly didn't want to come back to Oregon :179422:

Early word is that Charlie Strong might be dc, which would be massive!

Edit... Lots of speculation that he might replace Taggart at USF.

That'd be a huge hire. Honestly surprised Strong isn't headed to Notre Dame yet, or a smaller school with a HC opening.
