Reality check. Geno is ranked #16 and Cousins #6. Or just compare their stats this year. A rookie QB is always a crapshoot, especially if he is the 4th or 5th taken, which may be what we’re left with.

Look at Cousins body of work in the NFL. Is that the answer your really looking for to carry this team to a Super Bowl?

It's a sad day when Cousins name is being tossed around like he can be a savior or huge upgrade. Says a lot about Geno.

Just draft a QB and let's get the ball rolling already.
Says a lot about the current state of the qb situation across the league right now with few exceptions. Cousins and Goff are considered good now...

Cousins is 1-4 in playoffs. That’s the worst thing you can say about his career stats. Otherwise, 39,000 yards and nearly 100 QBR. If he were QB for the 49ers, he’d win Super Bowl this season.

how about if we copy Cincinatti's offense, and bring in browning? he already knows their system, and is playing well tonight. maybe the bengals would let him go.

A lot of QB's would be successful in San Fran. Unfortunately we're talking about the Seahawks.

I would need to see more than just one post season win and a losing record in primetime games before I would be comfortable with Cousins at QB. He's a slightly better Geno and not much more. Plus he's 35 years old.

87% of us think we should start a rookie qb. Now we're finally getting somewhere. Who that qb should be and will Pete go all in and finally, finally take one are the only open questions. They should draft one every year until they get the right guy. Personally, I don't really care who they pick, but Penix does have that rare ability to close out a game that so few of them have. You can't teach clutch.
